A Purr-fect Partnership: TCFOK + PetSmart

Tri-Cities Friends of Kitties is thrilled to announce our new partnership with PetSmart—bringing more love, care, and forever homes to cats in need. Through this collaboration, our fully vetted and fostered cats and kittens are now available for adoption at the PetSmart at Camp Creek Marketplace, where they’re lovingly cared for by our dedicated volunteers and PetSmart staff.

Since our first day at PetSmart on July 10, we’ve celebrated more than two cat adoptions per week—a testament to the power of community and compassion. On average, each of our kitties stays at PetSmart for just 9.5 days before finding their forever home.

Every day, our team cleans kennels, feeds, and plays with these furry friends, ensuring they’re happy and healthy while they wait for their new families. But we can’t do it alone.

We urgently need:

  • Foster families to give cats a safe place to land—especially those who “time out” after 21 days in-store and need a 7-day decompression break in a foster home; it’s a short commitment with a big impact.
  • Onsite volunteers to help care for cats at PetSmart
  • Donations to bridge the gap between veterinary costs and adoption fees

Together, we can give every cat the chance to thrive. Join us in making a difference—one paw at a time.

Rarely a day passes when Tri-Cities Friends of Kitties doesn’t receive a request for help with cats and kittens.  The more help requested, the more volunteers are needed.  Volunteering with Tri-Cities Friends of Kitties requires a little time and a lot of love which benefits both you and our kitties.

About Us

Founded in 2017, Tri-Cities Friends of Kitties is a nonprofit organization committed to the humane treatment and management of community and feral cats. We are dedicated to reducing community and feral cat population growth through our trap ∙ neuter ∙ return (TNR) efforts. Our passionate volunteers work tirelessly to ensure community cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies, where they are fed and cared for daily. We service the tri-city area of Hapeville, East Point and College Park in Fulton County, Georgia. As a registered 501(c)(3) charity, we rely on donations and volunteer support to continue our vital work.

Our Impact
